Doing so will help you better understand the vehicle you’re interested in purchasing, as well as what kind of deal you should expect to receive. As a personal lover of Speed, and enough power, I will always go for a Fast, Sporty V6 or above Engines to satisfy my wants.

If you mainly drive in stop-and-go traffic, then you might want to look for a smaller car with good city mileage Like the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Honda City, Hyundai Accent and Elantra, Kia Rio and Cerato to mention but a few.

As I said above, there are still many more things to consider but with the few things mentioned, you’d atleast 96% not make a wrong choice or decision when buying your car.
Other Secondary things you should also consider as a Nigerian buying a used car imported from outside the shores of our county or even used here in Nigeria include checking with your Mechanic that your Gear, Engine, AC, Undercarriage and chassis are in order. Making sure the Car is Rust free, If accidented, you should be made to know the extent of the accident, and if certified okay by your mechanic, you go ahead and purchase.
In conclusion, you should always factor in how wonderful and beautiful our roads are here, this will also play a major role in helping you determine if you’re going to go with a Sedan, SUV, Sedan, Coupe etc.
